“Instinct” continues the “Special Investigations Agency” series.  While attending a conference for the Special Investigations Agency (SIA), Mina Carling has the opportunity to get to know her colleague Lucas Sloan on a different level. Having always felt drawn to his sexy Scottish accent and sensual athletic physique, she is thrilled to discover that the attraction is mutual. Other employees share interest in the two, however, their attraction to each other remains strong and if anything it pushes them closer together.   Lucas is concerned about Mina’s safety because a werejaguar is out to get revenge on him.  Lucas feels that the werejaguar will hurt Mina.  So he must keep a close eye on her to make sure she stays safe.  However, she is not safe from his desire.

“Instinct” is a great story to read.  Denise Agnew does an awesome job of building up sensual chemistry and tension between the two characters.  She also incorporates humor into the story, so it makes it more fun to read.  “Instinct” stands well on its own, however, I know that I would enjoy reading other books in this series and I suspect that there are more to follow.  Fans of this series will not be disappointed in this one.  It is not a long story, so if you are feeling a need for a break and want to curl up and read a good story, this is definitely one that you will enjoy.
